Biker Crashes into Car Making Illegal U-turn
I think the motorcyclist’s own words right before the collision (“Oh $hit”) — as well as after (“F#ck no I’m not okay”) — sum things up pretty well. Apparently, the driver of this white Audi making an illegal U-turn was drunk. According to the guy on the motorcycle, she had 3 margaritas, ended up getting probation for this crash, and got another DUI about 30 days later.
The motorcyclist says he ended up with about $200,000 in medical bills (shattered pelvis requiring reconstructive surgery, fractured leg and kneecap, torn abductor muscles, and internal bleeding requiring blood transfusions) — but survived. Remember to always look twice for motorcycles!
