Russian Police Chase Ends With an Accident
Police in Russia chase a suspected drunk driver in a white Hyundai through the snowy city streets of Orsk (Orenburg Oblast). At about 1:35 into the video, the suspect finally wrecks into another vehicle and comes to a stop. Before the police even get to the accident, though, the driver of a dark-colored hatchback sedan finishes the job before getting out and trying to punch out the driver’s window.
What’s confusing me is that the police pay this enraged man (in civilian clothes, mind you) no attention at all — and he in turn pays the police no attention. Is this guy an undercover officer? In my mind, repeatedly punching a car window with your bare fist doesn’t seem like standard police protocol, but what do I know? It is Russia…
