This accident occurred on Interstate 81 in Augusta County near Spottswood, Virginia. A highway line-painting truck in front of the dashcam vehicle experiences a right-front tire blowout, causing the truck to veer into the guardrail and roll over. The driver was wearing his seat belt, but unfortunately died at the scene. A passenger was injured and taken to the hospital.
The name of the truck driver was Edwin M. Tam of Troutville, VA. He was 59-years-old.
